Question 1

Which Macs does Radial work on?

Accepted Answer

Any Mac on macOS 26 or later. It’s made for MacBooks with a touchscreen, where your thumb opens the dial from the corner.
On a Mac without a touchscreen, turn on Open with a held key in Settings → Behaviour: hold ⌘, ⌥ or ⌃ and move the pointer, and the dial opens right there.

Question 2

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

€9, once. Updates are included and there’s no subscription. One license works on up to 3 of your Macs and never expires.

Question 3

Can I try it first?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The download is the trial: for 3 days from the first launch Radial works fully, with no account and no key. After that, enter a license key to keep using the dial. Your dials stay where they are.

Question 4

What can I put on a dial?

Accepted Answer

Up to eight wedges, from:
music controls, and sliders for volume, brightness, keyboard light and seeking through a song
Night Shift, Dark Mode, Mission Control, the desktop, screenshots, Spotlight and emoji
any app, any Shortcut, Raycast commands and shell commands
your speakers and microphones, and other dials
There are ready-made dials on the Presets page to start from.

Question 5

What access does Radial need?

Accepted Answer

Accessibility, for media keys, Spotlight, the emoji picker, the held key and the drop dial. Automation, asked the first time, for song artwork, Dark Mode and files selected in Finder. Volume, brightness, Night Shift and the rest need nothing extra.

Question 6

How do I move my license to a new Mac?

Accepted Answer

Enter the same key on the new Mac: it works on up to 3 at once. If you’ve used them all, choose Remove from This Mac on an old one, or remove it in the customer portal linked from your purchase email.

Question 7

Can I share my dials?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Share Dial in the menu bar makes a short link to send with AirDrop, Messages or Mail. Whoever opens it can add the dial to their Radial without changing their own. You can also submit it to the Presets page.
